Hi Friends of Joe Mitchell!

We are so excited to see our children return to campus and experience the beauty of the new builds, their friendships, and their teachers!  We are highly optimistic that this school year will be fabulous, and to achieve this, we need your help!

As some of you may know, Friends of Joe Mitchell School (composed of parents, guardians, grandparents, family members, teachers, staff, neighbors, etc.) hosts three fundraisers throughout the year to support our children’s learning, their teachers, and other Joe Michell School needs. Our three signature fundraising events are:

Color Run (October 13, 2021): Designed to promote a healthy lifestyle and school spirit, the Color Run raises much-needed funds for our school and is the perfect chance to ask for support from your friends and family.

Thankful for Education (November 15, 2021- December 31, 2021): During this period, we ask families to make a direct financial donation to support extra student resources such as online learning software, classroom library books, and manipulatives.

Shindig March 12, 2022 (6:00pm to 10:00pm): Our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Shindig is an event for adults 21+ to enjoy a night out! We host a live and silent auction, music, dancing, while having a great time raising money for our school. We’ll need all levels of help so be on the lookout for a sign-up sheet in November.

We also realize that this year’s fundraising expectations may look different than previous years, because like many of you, we have also endured financial, economic, and social difficulties. Please know that we are in this together and we are extremely grateful for all the support that you give us!

Please feel free to reach out to Ruby Moppin at fundraising@friendsofjoemichellschool.org  if you have any questions or would like to volunteer to help with any of these fundraising events.

Let’s do this Eagles!
